Established in 1914 by Fred and Emma Halman, who grew vegetables and flowers around the year, selling their crops in Manchester Smithfield Market.

The business is now run by Les and wife Mavis, son Stuart and wife Gill, utilising 5 acres of glasshouses on a site of 8 acres.
